Finally made it to @honzenny, which has been on my list for a while 📌 Their sister omakase restaurant, @tsubameny, is one of my FAVES in the city, so I was super excited when Honzen launched earlier this year. They specialize in centuries-old tradition of honzen ryōri, a traditional and highly formal style of Japanese cuisine that consists of “zen” (trays) with a particular set of dishes. The space is calm and minimalist, letting the food speak for itself. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, and the attention to detail in both preparation and presentation is clear.
