✨I am an educator, a gemini, and your new favorite hypewomxn! Growing up, especially as a daughter of lesbian moms, I was raised to believe that no one should have to limit themselves for anyone. Regardless of adversities, my moms taught me that living one’s truth is paramount. ⁣ ⁣ ✨This should be obvious, right? But I imagine y’all already know that believing and living this are two different things. I know this because I learned at an early age what it meant to shrink myself, in ways large and small, to appease the insecurities and ignorance of others. ⁣ ⁣ ✨Through my own work in therapy I’ve been able to unpack how I’ve been conditioned over the years to please others at the expense of living authentically. At this point in my life I’m less concerned with how others perceive me. Instead, I aim to learn from challenges and live and act towards my best self, inspired. ⁣ ⁣ ✨It is my understanding that we all have the ability to transform our pain into purpose.
