Two part question-
Do you practice Nauli?
And if you do- do you practice Nauli when you’re on your period?
Almost any text, link or article you’ll find warns against practicing Nauli during menstruation, while I strongly disagree.
And of course wtf do I know beyond my own experiences? Not much. Lol. So I’ll share what I know to be true, for me.
Practicing Nauli throughout my cycle- ESPECIALLY during menstruation is key.
I find bloating, aches and even the length of my period are positively influenced by practicing Nauli.
Here’s the thing- just like with anything else you can adjust the intensity of the movement.
So on days where I’m feeling light, energetic and there is zero inflammation I practice a bit faster, deeper and for longer.
Or like in the video above- when things are inflamed, tender or just all together sluggish it’s a slower, more shallow, gentler and shorter practice.
DISCLAIMER: If you’re trying to get pregnant my intuition tells me this does not apply to you. Further disclaimer- I have light, short and relatively symptom free periods, always have. But... I’ve also always practiced nauli- literally. I remember showing my parents “my cool stomach trick” as early as 4.
So take this all with a grain of salt and follow your intuition.
Not sure wtf Nauli is? Shoot me a dm, leave a comment or hop on Google.
