I haven’t shared a personal note for a while so here goes some of the emotions I’ve been feeling..... some of u may relate, some may judge but since I’m trying to keep things as real as possible on a platform like this here it goes... Is it just me or are we all getting a little cynical ? A little mean , a little too judgmental, a little too full of our selves, a little too self-focused, a little too harsh, a little too caught up in thinking X, Y & Z makes us superior or higher than others and because of this we shouldn’t give love or treat others with kindness and respect ? Let’s remember that god gives equally, we all have a little less of something but a little more of something else ! I’ve been observing and seeing people that know each other pass each other by without even saying hello, I’ve seen “friends” not leave a like or a comment under some pretty important life event posts that they clearly saw because it comes up in convos later, I’ve seen people throw shade in so many different ways towards what they call “friends” .. When will be decided that kindness is what is actually cool! Kindness, realness, being truly supportive not in a passive way but in a real way? When will we realize that our own healing begins with being kind and good to those around us and it actually really kicks in when we do random acts of kindness without any expectations in return. What a beautiful feeling it would be to know that because we did something small, someone else’s day, week or life just got a little better ? That’s something we should take pride in ! There is nothing beautiful in mistreating others because we believe we are superior! I am personally going to try to be more humble, more kind, more real, less judgmental and less self-focused (there is a big difference between living a life with intention and towards our goals than a life that only suits us individually) ! Here is to hoping for a better world with less superiority complex and more goodness ! At the end people will forget what we said, we we did but they will never forget how we made them feel!
