Nighttime views of the Golden Gate Bridge shared by photographer and #AlphaCollective member @jude_allen "For this shot I had to walk a bit forward being aware of the northern tower placement on the Golden Gate bridge and to try and center or frame it in one of the southern tower openings. When I'm shooting I am always trying to pay attention to small details. Negative space around a subject is one of those details In my opinion that can make or break a good composition. I wanted to show light trails to give the shot a magical effect and to also expose the sky more evenly which called for a 30 second long exposure using a tripod. The compression in the shot is also due to the fact it was shot in 200mm focal length. This allowed the background and foreground to look equal in scale."
