I’ve had an incredible artistic journey over the past year and I can’t help but notice how the timing of @prettylittleliars and @ojaiplays were linked. After I wrapped my first day of shooting #plloriginalsin, I logged onto a zoom for the first night of the OPC Foundry Project readings as I rode back to my hotel in the van. In fact, most of my writing for Suburban Black Girl happened in my hotel room during filming for Season 1. Fast forward to my acceptance in the OPC New Works Festival and the synchronicity continues. PLL red carpet, episodes start streaming, I have an amazing group of close friends come over to celebrate and watch the show, then off to Ojai a few days later. And my incredible show runners and my friend Robert came up to Ojai to see my performance! Full circle...and also...just beginning. ✨✨✨ #blackplaywrights #ojaiplaywrightsconference
