On this day in August 2019, around about this time, @awatchandaband randomly walked into my life, and on that very first conversation we jokingly pledged to one day travel the world together. It took 3 years, but between family ill health, a global pandemic and worldwide country lockdowns there’s been a fair few valid reasons for the delay. Here we are August 2022, having both experienced irreplaceable loss and so neither of us need anymore lessons in how short life can be... It’s now or never, as they say. Despite loving Dubai as much as we do, we have spontaneously decided to leave the rat race for a while, take work on the road and experience what we have always wanted... the nomadic life. To heal, and live a little. We have packed up our beautiful home and compressed our belongings into a backpack as it’s time to see the rest of the world, work from a mountain not an office, spend precious time with family and friends... and moreover time with each other. Hopefully to pack monumental memories in our bags along the way ❤️ I once read... “if we were meant to stay in one place we would have roots instead of feet.” So with that in mind, we are off to see as many places as we possibly can. Dubai, you are an incredible city that makes peoples dreams come true, and you’ll forever be home for us both.
