Producing the first #REBUILDChicago event with @oasis.build and @revolttv was such an impactful experience. Chicago is a cultural landmark that has produced some of the most iconic artists, athletes, political leaders and social movements of our time. Despite having such a rich history, Chicago has also faced decades of social, political and economic decline within its Black communities. We brought over 1,200 people to the historic Harold Washington Cultural Center to learn about the power of group economics and the importance of buying back our neighborhoods. Owning real estate is more than a way to build generational wealth, it’s a proven pathway to changing the social, political and economic climate of our communities.
