If you’re struggling with self-love, sometimes you don’t have to do anything to “fix it.” You don’t have to make the feelings go away by pretending and performing the type of self-love we see on social media. Though I do encourage seeking support and working on yourself, I’m wondering if sometimes we must... - NOT do anything to change how I’m feeling - NOT work in attempts to earn my worth - NOT try to “figure it out” or “get my shit together” Maybe it’s okay to let yourself feel “bad” sometimes. The more you try to fix yourself, the more you’re professing that you are broken and perpetuating the vicious cycle of self-loathing. Mental health matters. AND I personally don’t want to identify so much with my thoughts and feelings. It’s an exhausting way to function. Please take this with a grain of salt. This is a video I made mostly for myself, but maybe it’ll help someone feel a little less broken. ❤️ #selflovejourney #selflovetips
