Replying to @hadysanmartinberm I feel like this with shredded chicken would be 🔥 FULL RECIPE ⬇️ : INGREDIENTS: •2lbs of yuca •2 lbs of fresh tuna steaks •2 bell peppers •2 white onions •2 roma tomatoes •4-5 stalks of celery •5 cloves of garlic •Half bunch of cilantro •Half bunch of parsley •A few celery leaves from the stalk •1 tbsp cumin •1 tbsp red aji powder •1 tsp salt •1 tsp black pepper •1 tsp oregano •1⁄2 red onion •3 limes •2 tbsp vinegar DIRECTIONS: 1) Fill a large pot with water but leave a bit of room so it wont overflow. Add the cut up onion, tomatoes, green peppers, celery, garlic, and herbs to the water. Season with black pepper, salt, and oregano and let that all start boiling. 2) Prep the fish and yuca. Lightly salt and add pepper to the tuna and add lime juice. Peel your yuca and make sure none of the pink is left. Cut your yuca into smaller chunks and boil them like potatoes. 20-25 minutes and you can stick a form through them then let them strain, break them down into smaller chunks and and set them aside. 3) When your broth iis boiling, add 1- 1 1⁄2 tbsp of red aji powder and the broth should change color. Then add in your fish and let the fish boil 15 minutes until cooked through. Then take the fish out, put them into a separate container, and break up into smaller chunks. 4) Take the veggies, herbs, and garlic from the broth and add to a blender. Blend everything and add it back into the broth. Let it simmer a bit longer. 5) Prep the curtido. Slice 1⁄2 red onion and add to a bowl. Then add chopped cilantro, vinegar, lime juice, and salt to taste. This is the topping. 6) How to Serve: Add the yuca to a soup bowl, then add the tuna on top, then add the broth until everything is covered. Lastly, top with the curtido and enjoyyyy :)) #ecuador #ecuadorianfood #latinfood #latinostiktok #cookingtiktok making ecuadorian encebollado a pescado
