Capturing powerful women is one of the highlights of my work. Not only do I leave every shoot feeling like I’m left sprinkled with this magic fairy dust of inspiration and purpose, but I also leave with a connection deeper than just a client rapport. With women business owners, there is this unspoken pact of “hey, we are in this together”. Together in this risk of creating something new, in the knowing that we have more than what it takes, and the trust that we wouldn’t be doing whatever “crazy” thing our heart passionately pulls us to unless there was some divine reason. If you’re a runner, you know that moment when you pass by another runner in the middle of a busy day, and you lock eyes and nod/smile at eachother? You could quite literally be on the last leg of a hard run, and the smile could mean “hi fellow runner, my legs are jello”, as well as “look at us! Doing our thing!” Anyway, working with badass women like @rsnskinco is like that. Hi, I see you doing your thing, and I know you see me doing mine, and we could be floundering and struggling and totally second-guessing why the eff we’re doing this in the first place some days, but the fact that we are here MEANS SOMETHING, and that’s fucking beautiful.
