Just in time for Thanksgiving & Rivalry Week🦃🏈 4 Ingredient Buttermilk Drop Biscuits👨🏻‍🍳 Ingredients: 4 cups self-rising flour 1 stick butter cubed, 2 tablespoons melted butter 2 cups buttermilk Salt 1) Preheat oven to 425F & place cast iron skillet into oven. Chill large mixing bowl, pastry cutter (or glass), flour, & 1 stick butter in freezer to chill for 15 min. 2) Add flour and quickly cut 1 stick cubed butter into flour, working with pastry cutter/ glass & your hands. 3) Add buttermilk and gently mix until dough becomes cohesive. 4) Transfer dough to floured surface and gently form biscuits with biscuit cutter, glass/ jar, and or your hands 🙌 “sticky icky icky” 5) Remove hot skillet from oven, spray with nonstick Pam or a thin layer of butter, place dough rounds onto skillet, touching each other, and pour/ brush over melted butter. 6) Return to oven & bake for 15-17 min until golden brown.
